Dr Ajit Godbole
Director
Organic Chemistry
Dr. Ajit Godbole is a rare breed of leadership that seamlessly bridges the R&D lab and the boardroom. Armed with a PhD in Chemistry and management credentials from SP Jain, Ajit combines deep scientific expertise with sharp business acumen. He started his carrier in the pharma industry in 2001 as a Research associate and rose to heading a research lab in a large organization in 2010 before joining Anant as full time director. He doesn't just solve complex technical challenges—he translates them into strategic, profitable growth. Above all, he is an exceptional mentor dedicated to building and elevating high-performing teams.
Dr Hormuzd Mulla
Chief Scientific Officer
Organic Synthesis
After completing his PhD from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Mulla held two post-doctoral research positions; one in peptidomimetics at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and another postdoc in glycolipids at Brown University in the US. With a strong background in organic chemistry, he has worked in the early drug discovery domain since 2004 in different capacities from team leader to senior lab management. With a passion for chemistry and a disciplined approach to problem-solving, Dr. Mulla ensures that the science behind every project/product at Anant is uncompromising.
